Hi I just adopted a 5 month old BT from my local shelter. I've had him about a month now. He is unaltered I was told by my vet to wait until he was 6 months to do this and have an appt this week. My question is, the first two weeks I had him he seemed fine with other dogs but in the past two weeks whenever he meets one his back hair goes up. He never growls or acts aggressively although he is getting increasingly pushy with them. He's also teething right now. Im wondering if this is just a developmental fear stage or if it's the beginnings of dog aggression.

Help.

oh oh? I don't know about the six months thing? sounds like aggression that neutering may fix? I think lulu was younger than six months when I had her fixed?

I don't have any advice...but Welcome to BostonLove.

I hope when his boys are gone that it helps with the dog aggression. Some dogs (I think) just don't like other dogs.

My Sadie hates other dogs.....she is okay with Dixie but they've been together since Dixie was a puppy. Sadie will always hate Ollie...Ollie is a rescue who came to us at a little over a year old.

You may have noticed..... I don't any advice...but I always give some anyway!!!

Good luck and again Welcome.
