On April 23,2009 I had to say goodbye to my best friend. Cherry was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had mammary tumors in every mammary gland. In January of 09 she developed one that grew rapidly and it became highly malignant and ulcerated. Surgery was not an option, at 15 years old she wouldn't have survived it. It caused her a lot of pain and discomfort especially because it was ulcerated. Even with a healthy diet she lost 10 lbs. in the matter or 4-5 months. Even though Im missing her soo much it was the best thing for me to do. I love you so much and you will always be in my heart and memories. You were a character of your own and you showed me what a true friend really is. I hope your running in the green fields of Rainbow Bridge. I know you will wait for me there ;)

Wow! What a beautiful tribute. I've been thinking of you and your family, wondering how yous are doing. It looks like Cherry had TONS of love her whole life. That is awesome :). And what a song. Who is it by? My daughter lost her boyfriend in a car accident last year and I'm wondering if she has heard that. And yes you did do the right thing even though it's very very hard. I hope you stick around and enjoy our stories and pictures. And feel free to post anything about Cherry, that's what we're here for.

Thank you very much , Im really sorry to hear about your daughters loss ;( . It not a good feeling. You might be shocked by who the song is by, its called Run by Snow Patrol. A very touching song, and everytime I watch the video I cry. Thanks you again for your prayers.

This is such a beautiful tribute to your sweet and beautiful Cherry. You've been in my thoughts and prayers lately. I know how hard it is to go thru the loss, but yes, you did the right thing, and You and Cherry will be together again, just like me and my Baxter will be. I love the song in the video, it's new to me, but really very very nice. Of course I cried as I watched the slideshow, but really some happy tears too, that you had so many good years with Cherry, as she did with you. ((Hugs)).

i just cant even imagine, i really wish i didnt watch that video it made me sad and i dont like to cry , im sorry about cherry, she looks like she was much loved. what a sweet lil girl *RIP* cherry........
