This is Cerveza, a little calico kitten who was born next door to my house on Memorial Day weekend. She was wild for a while, then Captain Morgan and Tug started playing with her and she became fast friends with them. She is so cute and sweet now and even the kiddos like her, but my problem is this...

My husband is NOT a cat person, in fact, he told BIL (the one that told Captain if he jumped in his truck he'd put a bullet in his head) that he could take little Cerveza home so she could live outside and kill snakes. He laughed and said okay, but wait a while because as small as she is, my dogs will kill her.

I don't want ya'll to think bad about my husband, but the only reason he tolerated my 17 year old cat, Mr. Rebel, was because he was old and I'd had him for 1/2 my life. He passed away in February and he was a very sweet old man. I know I have a little time to find someplace for little Cerveza to live because she is so small, but she doesn't have a very good fate if I don't because I can't keep her and I don't want her to have to fend for herself outside!!

There are a lot of ya'll in North Texas who have kittys and this one loves BTs. I think she thinks she is one!! LOL!! She loves playing with the Captain and Tuglet. I hate "free to good owner" things too, but there isn't anyone on this board that I wouldn't trust my babies to stay with and I know that under the circumstances, you guys can help me out here. If you can, PM me and I'll give you my cell phone # and we can make arrangements to meet and get her to a safe, good home where she'll be loved like she deserves. I wish I could, but my husband doesn't like cats!!

If it happens that someone does want to meet me and get her, then I will just make it seem like to him she just ran away or disappeared and then my evil stupid BIL won't ever get the chance to try to make her be a snake killer.

My husband would die if he knew I brought her in the house and let her sit in his chair after he went to bed LOL!!! But here she is and she is so sweet!!

I posted this on woofboard too, so I'm trying to find someone in North Texas. I want her to go to someone I know will love her and I know everyone on this board loves animals just like me!!

I'm not exactly sure why all these animals have ended up at my house this summer (me and my dad saved a golden retriever last week and he's now under the care of the North Texas Golden Retriever Rescue), but it's about to tear my heart out!!
