Hello, My Name is Daisy and I want to tell you about my first day in my new family. please bear with me, I am just 7 weeks old so I don't know too much about stuff. Ok, so first thing yesterday morning, I woke up and my old daddy picked me up and put me in this big cold box with a cold metal door. He plopped my brother and sister in there with me, so I felt a little better. Then he put the box in his big loud machine that brings him away from home and brings me to the place where the man pokes me with, what my old daddy called "shots". Only this time it is for a long trip.
Finnaly we stoped. My old daddy pulls me away from my brother and sister and hands me to this strange lady. She tells me she is my new mommy. I think I like her. So I bite on her hair. I am a little scared so I shiver and she holded me closer and kissed me. Then she puts me in another cold box all by myself. Only this new box isn't so cold. It has a nice fluffy blanket that I like to chew. So when I realize that she wont let me out after I whine a couple times, I start chewing my new blanket and fall asleep.
After a short time we stop and mommy brings me into a strange house. She tells me it is my new home. I didn't know what to think so I shivered a little more. And of course she holds me closer and kisses me some more and calls me baby daisy. I think I like that name, but I don't know yet. So we go into the new house and I find all kinds of new things to chew. I think I like this house. Mommy keeps bringing me more and more new fun things to chew and shake and carry anound.
Later mommy shows me my new bed. She calls it a crate and sometimes calls it my cave. It is snuggly and she puts my new blanket in there so I like it. When I get sleepy I crawl in my new cave and mommy calls me a good girl. I like to make mommy happy so when I crawl in my cave I dont even whine if she shuts the door.
After my nap my mommy always brings me outside. I like it out there so I always go potty. There are strange noises and strange things to look at so I have fun outside. Mommy always tells me I am a good girl when I go potty outside, so I always do. Layter I meet my new human brother. Mommy tells him to be nice to me and my human brother tells mommy that he loves me already. He is kinda crazy and I chase him, he doesn't seem to like that yet, but I think I can train him. I think he may be my favorite toy.
So I play and sleep a lot on my first day and go to bed in my mommy and daddy's room in my cave. I sleeped and sleeped until I woke up and had to go potty so bad I just had to wake up mommy. Mommy was happy to see me and took me outside again. Then we went back to bed. Only this time, I didn't want to be in my cave. So mommy took me out and put me on her pillow. Then I heard daddy say "is she in the bed with you?" (mommy told me last night that daddy didn't want me sleepin in the bed) So mommy said "yes" then daddy said "well why don't you put her between us?" so we all snuggled till mommy got up. It was a good first day!
