So It is a go. I will be adopting Babe from Arkansas. After a big dissapointment with trying to adopt baxter, I am excited to welcome Babe into my home.

Her info says she is 13 but when talking to her foster mom she says she is 14! She is very spunky and likes to play. She is healthy and very loving. I was going to foster her for my local rescue but I decided to keep her since she she is in the twilight of her life and I don't want her to be bounced around anymore. Her foster mom has 5 bt's and calls babe the grand dame matriarch of her crew and she has only been there a week.

I meet the transport a couple hours from my home on March 4th. Wish me luck. And send some support to Daisy. I hope they both have a smooth transition. Any advice on the introductions and period of transition would be great. I don't really know what to expect.

CONGRATULATIONS JENN AND DAISY! You must be thrilled and I think it's wonderful that you've decided to keep this sweet girl and not subject her to alot of moves.
Good Luck and I'm keeping you and Daisy and Babe in my thoughts hoping that everything goes smooth for everyone involved. :)

Congradulations!! I was trying to adopt a dog named Baxter also. Was it a 5 yr old male being fostered in Mass? Through the shelter out of texas? Just curious.... They called us once, then We never heard from them, but we were finally able to adopt an adorable young boy from NY. He's a handful, but its so tough when an adoption falls through. Its great to see these dogs get good homes. ENJOY1
