I found ya'll by searching the internet for boston terrier chat. i am the proud new mommy of a 4 month old boston male named Sarge.

he was a pathetic, scared, dirty, stinky pup 9 days ago when i got him. i was looking for a boston terrier and called an online breeder who told me about a "flea market" well what i ended up at was a puppymill autcion. it was a horrible site, i was angry and sickened.

i wish i could have bought all the pups they auctioned off that day, but sarge did become mine.

after 4 trips to the vet in 9 days, 3 medications and 3 shots later, my sick little boy is on the road to recovery.

i made sarge alot of promises i intend to keep, like a soft voice, and a gentle touch, endless love and kisses. proper medical care, great food. fresh water, bath time, toys and a forever home where he will not be expected to make puppies his whole life. as soon as his health permits, he is getting neutered!!

well 3 baths later, sarge smells great, he's not as timid and scared, he runs, jumps and plays. he's not afraid to walk on grass or down the sidewalk now. and he loves his fenced in backyard to play in. he loves the lazyboy and snuggles great in bed at night. i am so glad we found each other.

as we take on this new journey that is already very rewarding and at times frustrating, i know sargewas meant to be mine

and a site like this will be so helpful for a new mum like me. :cH2R:

Welcome to BL, Sarge's Mom!

Your intro story touched my heart, so glad Sarge is in a forever home with love. You're definitely scoring brownie points with all of us! Using T.L.C, neuteuring him when he's ready, and using lots of patience with Sarge.

We all need a picture of the little sweetie. :)

:welc: to Bostonlove! We already had a little chat, but I wanted to welcome you formally. I'm so glad that you found us! And it seems you have got this posting down pat now, so you must post those pics you are getting on disc. I'm so glad that you are giving Sarge the love and care that he needs, and I know it will be rewarding to you though not always easy. My name is Barb by the way, and Baxter is my 9 1/2 year old girl with little sight left due to cataracts, but she is the love of my life - and the 'hot water bottle' under the covers at night.

BTW, where in the midwest are you? I'm in NW Indiana.

Hello Sarge's Mom! It's good to meet you, and great to hear that Sarge has been rescued from one of those horrible places.

My dog's name is Stetson. He's an 11 month old mischief maker and the third BT in a row to rule my house.

Can't wait to hear more about Sarge. :)

Sarge's Mom I am so glad you made an intro post! Sarge's story is one of true love, what an amazing person you are. Can't wait to see pictures. Lucy is my "grand" dog but really she's mine :). She is 3 years old and we are pretty sure that she came from a BYB but LUCKILY she is healthy :) Be sure to share stories with us and ask for any advise.

Welcome to BostonLove!! You will love it here! This is the best Boston Terrier board there is! Your story about Sarge touched my heart as well. I'm so glad he found you and I can't wait to see pictures!

My BT is Duke. He just turned one in August. He is my second BT. My first was a female name Maddy that passed away last year. I can't imagine not having a crazy, loving BT in my life. They are the best! :)
