I found ya'll by searching the internet for boston terrier chat. i am the proud new mommy of a 4 month old boston male named Sarge.
he was a pathetic, scared, dirty, stinky pup 9 days ago when i got him. i was looking for a boston terrier and called an online breeder who told me about a "flea market" well what i ended up at was a puppymill autcion. it was a horrible site, i was angry and sickened.
i wish i could have bought all the pups they auctioned off that day, but sarge did become mine.
after 4 trips to the vet in 9 days, 3 medications and 3 shots later, my sick little boy is on the road to recovery.
i made sarge alot of promises i intend to keep, like a soft voice, and a gentle touch, endless love and kisses. proper medical care, great food. fresh water, bath time, toys and a forever home where he will not be expected to make puppies his whole life. as soon as his health permits, he is getting neutered!!
well 3 baths later, sarge smells great, he's not as timid and scared, he runs, jumps and plays. he's not afraid to walk on grass or down the sidewalk now. and he loves his fenced in backyard to play in. he loves the lazyboy and snuggles great in bed at night. i am so glad we found each other.
as we take on this new journey that is already very rewarding and at times frustrating, i know sargewas meant to be mine
and a site like this will be so helpful for a new mum like me. :cH2R:
