Welcome Corey and David.
Are you getting babies or are they rescues?
How old are they?
What names and are they male or females?
Oh you lucky people getting two at once. Just think double the loving and kisses......and double the puppy trouble. LOL
Merry Christmas from Sue (australia)

Thank you one and all for the warm welcome.
We will be pickiing up a 7 week old female BT tomorrow at noon, her name is Ruthie. We decided not to get another puppy at the same time because of the challenges in training, we are new to dog training.
We are very excited, although of course we have many questions.
We both work in the school system, so we will be leaving the house at 6:30, but Corey wll come home at 11:00 to take Ruthie out, and Corey will be home at 2:15 for the day. We have a baby gate up the keep her in the kitchen while we are gone, and she has a crate in the kitchen when if she wants it. We will put down disposible training pads by the door, since its too long to hold it. We have read that crate training is best, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be practical since we don't want to leave her in the crate that long, and she would have to go in the crate, which would defeat the purpose of the crate training. Any suggestions for potty training? Thanks again for the welcome.

I think they say if you're going to do the crate to be consistent and of coarse that is a general rule of thumb in potty training. But I know that it's easier said than done. At 7 weeks they really can't hold it long at all but it won't take Ruthie long to be able to strengthen her bladder. It sounds like you' are very excited, we are very happy for you's. Can't wait to see pictures and learn more about Ruthie :)
