We have recently discovered that lucy LOVES milk. I have been giving her a little here and there. Is this O.K. for her? I know Lola the princess likes it so I figure it's ok for my lulu but was just curious. :)

Ahhh, the milk! Daisy loves the millk, especially the rich coffee creamer, eggnog and will try to lick the hot coffee out of my mug. Usually I just give her a lick or two because it's not going to harm her. It's not as if she's going to have a bowl full of heavy cream.

Koi also loves milk. I was talking about it in chat one Monday night and Sue asked me why I was giving it to her and i said because she likes it. I was saying we have both regular and lactose free( for Rob) and Sue was saying the lactose free would be better and to never give her soy milk. She still gets regular milk if I don't watch her and hasn't had any tummy or potty issues because of it. She also loves yogurt and doesn't seem to notice that I buy the fat free kind for her :) It has been quite the balancing act around here. Brandi needed to gain weight and Koi needs to maintain her weight.

Midget likes milk too. I give her a little bit sometimes. I don't think a small amount is going to hurt them.

Baxter likes milk too, and yogurt. I give her a teaspoon of yogurt whenever I'm having any.

Some Bostons are lactose intolerant and so spew milk so lactose free is best for them. Yoghurt is good(low fat) for them and some even enjoy the fruit yoghurts.
Mine all love some ice cream too.
If your BT spews milk try a bit of goats milk with them.

I give mine yogurt everyday to help cut down on those nasty UTI's and yeast infections, AND, they LOVE it :)

I'll confess to this!

I'll be the death of Daisy because I feed her cheese daily. :o

Maya and Robby occasionally get ice-cream and yogurt, and they love it!
Robby licks it up so fast, I'm always worried that he's gonna get an ice-cream head-ache.

Sue's right, if they like milk, goat milk or lactose free milk is best.

A bit of regular milk won't hurt at all, unless they're intolerant or get it too often.

Hey Patty I use cheese for show training and bait.
Did you know that cheese can help bind a runny bum and cooked liver can help for constipation.

My guys all like anything that has cheese sauce on it so they get a far bit of both cheese and milk.Mind you we use low fat high calcium milk.
