Hey everyone we haven't been around lately it's been crazy here, I do have a quick question,
Lately Taz has been acting like he is starving all the time, he is on Canadie and usually he gets fed in the am and pm 1/2 c each time, but now in the morning he scarf's it down and is looking for more, so I started giving him 3/4c and then the rest for dinner but after he eats his he is begging us for food, he has even taken food right out of Madison's hand, which he never had done before he usually wouldn't even touch it if she dropped it unless I said it was ok. so now I don't know what to do he was just a the vet for his yr checkup and shots and he didn't have any worms or problems.
What do you think?

Eileen how much does he weigh? Sounds to me like he's playing you to get more food..Indy tries the same thing!

Right, he could be getting greedy... or maybe his appetite has just increased. Who knows? Is he more active now than he used to be?

You can slightly increase his intake, and if he doesn't gain any weight over the next month or two, then maybe you can keep him at that level.

Did they do any bloodwork? It could be his sugar is messed up or thyroid? I give lucy 1/2 cup in the am and 1/2 cup in the pm and she also seems like she is more hungry now but she was getting a little pudgy so I had to cut her down. She still gets "snackys" from us from time to time though :)

Sorry guys we just came back from the beach!!!

Sheryl~ Taz weighs just about 24lbs. I thought he was just trying to get more food too, but when he started taking food from Maddy I began to wonder,

Cyrus~ I started giving him 3/4 c in the morning and 1/2 at supper, and I only put 1/4 c in his dish at a time at night so he dosen't eat it so fast, the vet told me to keep a few pieces of his food at the table and when he begs throw a piece down and then he will know that's all he gets, he seems to do a little better with this now so I am hoping that is what it is.
